Discover how to monitor Azure VM performance and usage metrics with Azure Monitor; set alerts and notifications for VM metrics; view VM activity logs, and examine VM diagnostic settings. Finally, examine Azure HPC and recognize when HPC deployments should be used. The exercise involves describing when Azure HPC should be used, deploying a Linux Azure VM using the portal and a Windows Azure VM using PowerShell, and resizing Azure VMs.
