CompTIA A+ 220-1001: Wireless Networking Protocols

Skillsoft issued completion badges are earned based on viewing the percentage required or receiving a passing score when assessment is required. As wireless gadgets proliferate, so do their network protocols. This course helps you distinguish between WiFi standards 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n, and 802.11ac; the frequencies they use, the channels they offer, and how well they perform against one another. Other wireless standards discussed include Bluetooth, Near Field Communication (NFC), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), and Zigbee and Z-Wave for Iot devices and low power applications. Finally, this course compares 3G, 4G, 5G, and LTE cellular communication standards and their application to mobile devices.
