Creating and editing macros in Excel 365

Cristina Cosmea

Skillsoft issued completion badges are earned based on viewing the percentage required or receiving a passing score when assessment is required. If you have tasks in Excel 365 that you perform repeatedly, you can record a macro to automate those tasks. When creating a macro, you are recording your mouse clicks and keystrokes. After you create a macro, you can edit it to change the way it works. In this course, you will explore how to record macros and perform actions that can be implemented in Excel workbooks, and how to save in an Excel macro-enabled workbook. Find and use macro tools that are available in multiple locations, use macros across multiple workbooks, and add the Macro recording button to your status bar for easier access. In addition, you will learn how to navigate the VBA Editor interface, which is an application that's accessible via Excel, to manage your macros and workbook VBA code. You will further explore how to manage macros, edit macros, and enable macros in a workbook; and how to access and manage macro security settings. In order to practice what you have learned, you will find practice exercises and samples in the Course Contents pane or in the Resources section.
