Begin by adding a data disk to your Windows VM in the Azure portal; then add a data disk to a Linux VM in Azure PowerShell. You will then look at moving your VM to another resource group, region, or availability zone; learn how to redeploy a Windows VM to a new Azure node, and redeploy a Linux VM to a new Azure node.
