Managing documents in Word 365 (2024)

Word 365 offers different tools to create and manage documents. First, learn how to create and save your custom templates. Next, discover how to view your document’s statistics, such as the number of words and pages in your document. Before sharing your document, there are several things you should verify. Learn how to view your document’s hidden information and remove it. Also, use Word’s Accessibility Checker to examine your document for ways to make your content easier for people with disabilities to read and edit. When you create a new document, Word 365 automatically applies its default paper size, orientation, and page margins. If you are printing on a paper size that differs from the default, see how to configure the page layout settings.
